| The Giant Eagle patches were the largest of the Duncan patches, and highly sought after by competitors in the 1950's, and now by collectors. The Giant patches were a velour patch, with a thick textured face, sewn to a thick felt backing. These were usually affixed to a Duncan sweater, but I have also heard that some were awarded as patches. |  |
